Managed Website Care and Hosting
Launch day isn't the finish line — a website still needs hosting, security patches, and small updates to keep working the way it did on day one. Our care plans take that off your plate: fast managed hosting, regular backups, and a real person to call if something breaks.
What's included
- Fast, secure managed hosting
- Regular updates, automated backups, and uptime monitoring
- Security monitoring and prompt response if anything goes wrong
- Ongoing small improvements and content updates as your business changes
Good fit for
- We built your site and you want it kept maintained, not left to rot
- You don't have in-house technical staff and don't want to hire one
- A site going down or getting hacked with no one to call has burned you before
How it works
- 1Onboarding — your site moved onto our managed hosting with monitoring configured
- 2Ongoing monitoring — uptime, security, and backup checks running continuously
- 3Update requests — you send content or text changes, we make them without you touching code
- 4Regular check-ins — a periodic review of performance and any needed improvements
Typical timeline
Onboarding an existing site typically takes 1–3 business days. Once live, routine content update requests are usually turned around within 1–2 business days.
How pricing works
Care plans are a flat monthly fee based on your site's size and how much ongoing update activity you expect — a simple brochure site costs less to maintain than one with frequent content changes or online ordering.
What's not included
Transparency up front, so there are no surprises later.
- Large redesigns or new feature builds — small updates are included, but a new section or redesign is quoted separately
- Ad or SEO management — those are separate services, though they can be bundled
- Domain registration itself — we can advise, but the domain is registered in your name, not ours
Final deliverables, revision limits, client dependencies, payment schedule, and third-party costs are confirmed in the applicable proposal and agreement. Review the sitewide Terms of Service for the existing contractual framework.
Frequently asked questions
- What counts as a "small update"?
- Text changes, swapping a photo, updating hours or a menu, fixing a typo — the kind of thing that shouldn't require a whole new project. A full redesign or new page section is scoped and quoted separately.
- What happens if my site goes down?
- Uptime is actively monitored, and we respond as soon as an issue is detected rather than waiting for you to notice and report it.
- Can I cancel if I don't need it anymore?
- Yes. You own your site and domain regardless — a care plan is optional ongoing support, not a requirement to keep your site live.
- Do I have to sign up for this if you built my site?
- No, it's optional. Some clients prefer to manage updates in-house or through someone else — we just make sure you know what's involved either way.
Why this is different
You get a real person to email or call, not a ticket that disappears into a queue — this is the same team that built your site, not an outsourced support desk.
