01 / The problem
Let the work do the selling, then make booking the obvious next move.
Nail salons are chosen on evidence. A prospective client wants to see finished sets, understand pricing, and know whether they can walk in — and most salon websites bury all three behind a generic template.
A self-directed concept for a Corpus Christi nail salon. The build uses an editorial serif identity and an overlapping photo composition to put finished work in the first screen.
02 / From question to implementation
What NSR built.
A responsive salon concept leading with a gallery-forward hero, plus Services, Portfolio, Pricing, About, and Visit sections, with a reservation action pinned in the navigation.
01 / Part of the solution
Evidence in the first screen
Overlapping photography of finished sets sits beside the headline, with a pulled client quote layered into the composition rather than parked in a testimonials strip.
02 / Part of the solution
The three facts that decide a visit
Rating, sanitary care, and walk-in availability sit directly under the hero actions — the questions a first-time client actually has.
03 / Part of the solution
Two intents, side by side
Reserve Your Seat and View The Gallery are given equal weight, acknowledging that some visitors book and some browse first.

03 / The intended outcome
Designed business impact.
Move a visitor from looking at finished work to reserving a seat with as little friction as possible.
