01 / The problem
Give a product people photograph a page worth photographing.
Mochi donuts and boba are bought on impulse and shared on social. A restrained, conventional café website actively understates the product; the page has to carry the same energy as the thing being sold.
A self-directed concept for a mochi donut and boba café. The build is an exercise in matching art direction to an impulse product without losing the practical information a visit requires.
02 / From question to implementation
What NSR built.
A responsive café concept with an expressive display identity, a product-led hero, Menu, Hours, and Location sections, and a single persistent ordering action.
01 / Part of the solution
Product at full scale
A single donut is set between the halves of an oversized wordmark, letting the product carry the composition instead of a photography grid.
02 / Part of the solution
A voice, committed to
“A little weird. Very iconic.” and “Big Chew Energy” set a tone the rest of the page holds, rather than defaulting to café neutrality.
03 / Part of the solution
Three questions, three links
Menu, Hours, and Location are the entire navigation, with Order held separately as the only coloured action.

03 / The intended outcome
Designed business impact.
Match the page's personality to the product, and keep ordering reachable from every point in the scroll.
